Lost Bookmarks

Hi

My girlfriend accidentally switched off the PC at the mains yesterday whilst it was on and working. The upshot of this appears to be no lasting damage and I was able to rescue the various Word documents and save them this morning using the built in recovery programme.

However I do appear to have lost all of my bookmarks from Firefox and IE. Now most of these were handy but incidental, unfortunately however Iria is currently job hunting and had saved a number of likely roles and sites to investigate this weekend.

Is there any way to recover lost bookmarks?

Firefox/1.5.0.4, WIN XP home, SP2.

The info here http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile should help. There could be a profile still there but not linked to her user. Chances are FF has created a new one but left the old one lying around somewhere.

If she'd spotted and bookmarked these ove rthe last few days, trawling through the browser history file will probanbly turn up a lot of them.
