Hi Guys

I've got a Fireworks document with 5 frames. I've inserted a bitmap of a PDF logo on frame 5, created a polygon hotspot over the bitmap and set the hotspot properties to point to the PDF file so it can be downloaded. This works fine. However, the hotspot is obviously created in the web layer and thus "clickable" on all frames. How can I create a hotspot which is active only on frame 5? Or is a hotspot not the way to go?

Here's the link if it helps: www.hunterfoulis.co.uk/newdevelopment/newdev.htm

Cheers
Phil

I am sure there is probably a better way, but personally I would probably just use 5 html pages rather than swapping 5 images, this would enable you to get the hotspot only on the page you want - it would also give you the opportunity to to use real text for the text areas as opposed to text within an image which always looks a bit odd and cannot be copied and pasted or searched etc.

Sure someone else will be along in a minute with a much better idea though.

The only way I can think of doing this is to load one large image instead of 5 small ones, and use css rollovers instead of javascript to load different sections of the image, with the "hotspot" only being in one section.

I'd wager this is beyond the means of fireworks however and you will need to do it by hand...
