spyware that shows up in scans but wont delete!
Discussion
i picked up some spyware the other day that i cant seem to get rid of, when i run spybot search and destroy it shows up as "lsa" but when i try and delete it it says its a problem that "cant be fixed", and remains, its also picked up in yahoo anti spy as "win32.Qhost.DF", and again even though it says its deleted when i run a later scan its still there, the symptoms are that on startup the mouse arrow allows one click on any icon then goes into hand mode and cant click on anything else so has to be restarted, this can happen a couple of times in a row, then after the third or fourth restart everything runs exactly as it should until it happens again the next time....

simply searched for "win32.Qhost.DF", gave me lots of hits on tech sites which showed how to get rid of it
What virus killer are you using, when did it last update and what software firewall other than xp are you using ?
as well as running sygate firewall, i ve got spybot, spyware blaster, yahoo antispy, adaware, cws shredder, most of which find it but dont delete it permanently. thanks for the link theres some useful stuff on there, ive downloaded ewido spyware killer, and trojan hunter, apparently they get rid of the stubborn stuff that other scanners fail to kill.
