Using LCD TV as a Monitor??
Discussion
I have a Toshiba 27" LCD TV which has a PC input. I have been using my PC on this over the past month or so, instead of a Monitor.
Last night I was watching a film on the computer, turned the player off and since then the icons and text look like they are almost flashing, so not a lot but enough to catch the eye. The display was the same this morning.
Is it safe to use a LCD TV as a monitor? don't use the computer that much normally have it turned on downloading and just VNC into it, but sometimes listen to music or watch a film on it.

Check the screen refresh rate (Display Properties/Settings/Monitor).
I can see the flicker on a CRT monitor at 60Hz but this does not happen with LCD. If the rate is lower you may see it. Interlaced settings are usually lower as well.
