iso and bin files
Discussion
Lets say I have a file in .bin format
What would be the easiest way to get this to be viewable?
I've downloaded something called MagicISO and it's busy creating ISO and Dat files but now I'm lost.
As you can probably tell, I'm a bit of a 'tard when it comes to things like this - if there's an easy way I'd love to hear it.
Cheers

ISO Buster can extract the files to their normal state. But (I think) any CD/DVD burner can write ISO files to disc where it will magically appear on the disc as the properly formatted file/files. Think of ISO's as zip files that will get expanded when you burn them to disc.
As mentioned above Alcohol 120% will do it and so will Nero.

Is there anyway I can turn the .bin file into a mpg4 or something I can view on my PC or do I have to make a DVD?
First question. Assuming it's a disk image do you have the .cue file that comes with it?
Nero Burning ROM should be able to write out the image, I belive in the menu marked 'Recorder' you'll have something that reads 'Write image to disk' select that, select the .cue file, insert appropriate disk size, click OK. Wipe hands on pants.
edit to add: Usually .bin/.cue files are found together. It's rather an old way of handling things, but handy if your making S-VCD's due to their odd track layout requirements.
