A friend who has a small business would like to access sage from home, he already has a P2P network in the office and this is all linked at a BT adsl router. My thoughts are either RDC or VPN it has to be simple for me to set up ;-) and him to use.
Anyone any better ideas or solutions preferably free.

As far as I know, Remote Assistance has to have someone at the target machine to ok the connection. Maybe Remote Desktop is what you need. I use this to access my media centre pc in the garage. You will probably have to set up port forwarding on the router for the RDP ports, not too sure what they are and then when you RDP to the routers external IP, it should forward all the requests to the Sage pc.
