Hi All,

I did a search first and read tons of posts about home use wireless networks but i was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction for a suitable wireless network hub for my business.

At present i have 5 PC's & 1 Laptop hooking into my server via an 8 port switch. The laptop does it wirelessly already as the BT router has a wireless function too. However, i would like to relocate the server to a different room and the walls in my building a concrete, making it a huge task to use wires.

Having already tested the wireless signal througout my building using the laptop i'm happy that there will be no signal issues. Therefore, I'm wondering if someone can recommend a suitable hub for the network to use that will also allow expansion to double the current size (12 PC's/laptops)? At present none of the PC's are wireless capable but the simple addition of a wireless card would solve that i would have thought.

I haven't really set a budget but am keen to do this correctly in the first instance rather than having to buy another hub if we find it's unreliable.

I look forward to hearing any advice.

Best regards

James

We use a basic Netgear wireless hub at both our dealerships. They do occasionally fall over requiring a hard reset but in the main they're fine.
