Apple MacBook Pro

Looking for some advice on a good place to get hold of a 17" version.
Is there anywhere better than from Apple direct?

There's a pretty high chance that a new one with a merom chip in it is coming out in August.

The cheapest place tends to be Apple's Refurb store where you usually find them at about 20% off a new one. Same warranty and conditions though. All I've seen today is 15.4" ones!

If you want a fully specced up 15.4, unused, then I have one for sale... basically I had one of the first ones on sale in the UK, but it was one of the dodgy heatpipe duffers and overheated. I bought a black MacBook to tide me over whilst the MBP was sent back for repair... but Apple sent me a brand new MBP. Of course by then I was preferring the smaller size and portability of the MacBook, so I haven't used the MBP.

It's fully tested by me and doesn't overheat or throttle under load, it's a good'un - I paid £2200 for it, would take £1700 now (Apple reduced their prices as well) - if you're interested mail me for full spec.
