Nokia 6233 technical questions

Afternoon knowledgeable wonderful technically minded PHers...
I've just bought a Nokia 6233 as a follow on from my 6230i (great phone), 6230 etc. etc.
A couple of points I have with it already. I have searched high and low through the net, find similar questions everywhere (on the Nokia discussion forums, for example) and also on GSMArena, and all other similar forums I can find but I can not find the actual answers! So I lay before you PH bods, has anyone had similar problems;
1, it says in the instructions I can use "word suggestion" type prediction with the T9 dictionary when texting, but I can't find this anywhere in the phone - only predictive text. I believe it's not evident on the phone (a bug) and that a firmware upgrade MIGHT fix it. I currently have fw 3.70 but can't find an upgrade or knowledge if this is current?!
2, the BLOODY CHARGERS!!!!! grrrrr. I have probably 3 x Nokia chargers dotted around. 1 at work, 1 next to my bed, 1 for the car. New phone...NEW type of charger
It's a tiny ponsey little thing that looks like it's going to break every time you plug it in?! Anyway...is there an adaptor you can buy so the old chargers plug into the new shape holes? Or do I have to buy me some new chargers? Bloomin Nokia - a little bit blatant that one, and very frustrating grumble grumble

It is current, but there are some newer versions under test - upgrade might be available in a few weeks. Regarding the word prediction or lack thereof, I suspect that it may have been dropped from the feature set, as it was with some versions of the 6280. Probably just didn't bother printing updated user manuals.
