Webmasters - any thoughts on Accoona?

[_dobbo_]

I've been messing about on Accoona which is supposed to be revolutionising search with it's "Artificial Intelligence" which apparently predicts what you are trying to search for.

However, all my sites and search terms which are mostly postition 1 on google and are top 5 on all the other engines don't even register on Accoona...

Add to that it doens't seem to come up with particularly great results and I can't really see the point of this new player in what is frankly a fairly well established market.

[slapmatt]

It doesn't have anywhere near the depth of results that Google has and it missing one of my favourite features on Google, the ability to search for "pages from the UK only".

I agree with what you said about trying to penetrate (ohh err) an extremely tough market like search engines. There seems to be a new search engine launched every week, but none come up with the accuracy of results you see on Google.
