Talktalk Broadband woes

Anyone else having trouble? Been up and down like a whore's knickers over the last couple of weeks. Not to mention dropping and unable to reconnect for hours!

I wouldn't mind but being in the sticks I only get 589kps at best!

Finally got connected with them after about 3 months of waiting. I find that it drops out every few hours or so, but with auto-reconnect it's not tooo much of a hassle. Never happened with my BT Broadband though.

For the price, can you grumble? Already downloaded about 10Gb of stuff in a week or so....

Bear in mind that over the first ten days it will drop out occasionally. The line is learning the best possible stable speed you can obtain and will drop and reconnect to do this. If it keeps happening after 10 days then it's probably a problem and you should contact the ISP.

This is a feature of the ADSL Max product which you have with CPW.
