"Reverse" whois?

Just to get this right, do you mean a whois lookup based on the company that has registered the name (using I assume a Registrant name or address or admin contact name etc) to see what other domain names they have registered?
My company has sold the part I work in to a bunch of investors. We're trying to find out what our new company name will be. I was kind of guessing that they've probably already bought the internet domains. sheepy said:

Which was a shame because I spent bleedin ages working on a whois parser.
