different text on website compared to Frontpage
Discussion
Why is it that once i have uploaded a page, after creating it in Frontpage, does some of the text differ?
For instance the font type used will be different than what i selected in FP and also some of the letter change the £ sign will be changed into a ? sign.
What can i do so that it comes out the way that i want.
thanks

You should use &p0und; instead of the £ sign, this is correct HTML (replace 0 with o)
J
so i go into the code editor and replace the £ with a &p0und and it will work?
yes, with pound being spelt properly, AND with a semicolon ; at the end.

It could as well be that the machine you're viewing the page with doesn't have the specified font installed, or the browser doesn't interpret the correct character set (for ? instead of £ ), or the browser is explicitely set to override specified fonts with another. If it is anything like previous versions of FrontPage then what you see in the FrontPage editor is often displayed in the system font (usually Arial) and in Internet Explorer as its default web font (usually Times New Roman).
You need to set the default font for the page in one of the many options or settings in FrontPage or else use CSS to set the default font for the page.
