Ted, there appears to be a glitch in the Matrix. The above posting looked fine in the preview window and then the main thread doesn't seem to cope with the plus sign. Is this normal?

I'd image the + is being interpreted as a special char and is breaking the Quote Function.

Yep - if you look at the preview carefully you'll see that the '+' is actually missing - this is an age-old problem in the preview window but does indicate that that character is treated somewhat differently.
