iPod mini problem with instalation
Discussion
Hey everyone, i got a problem with my iPod mini (4 gb)
At first i installed my iPod mini it all good, songs on it and used it.
But then i had a new computer and i needed to install again.
Well it says that the ipod instalizing (or whatever its called) is all oke but then the next thingy, formatting is wrong after the first minute it says: assertion b failed at .\iPodFormatFAT32.ccp line 1068
and then it just goes away (the hole installation)
bye
thanx already

You didn't need to format the ipod when you purchased the new computer.
It sounds like whatever you are trying to format the ipod with is going 'wrong' somehow, are you using the official ipod updater from Apple? If so, try downloading it again. If the problem persists try using the version that came on the CD.
It could be a dodgy cable, dodgy software or worst case the ipod is knakkered
