Getting hit by Google
Discussion
Just to keep me occupied it looks like I may have a small eCommerce project to develop. The reason being the blokes' current site doesn't seem to find him via Google and also he's getting fed up with the people who look after his site.
So my question is how to get noticed in Google and potentially promote yourself up the list. Obviously using Meta Tags is one way but I also want to get hits for products in the database as they appear without the need to maintain a list.
The site will be written in .Net , sites like this one seem to get picked up via Google despite being dynamic Asp. Results returned by Google also include individual text in posts (with a link to that specific thread) so Google must be running and scanning individual asp pages?
Any help on how to add bits to the code to get Google awareness up would be very helpful.

You can send me an email too, I have SEO knowledge too. Sorry docevil!
Remember, when dealing with dynamic websites, the session ID that is assigned can impair google scanning your site. Also, google may even think that the site's design is abusing HTML tags and elements to raise rank, even if you're unaware of this. For example, having extra long strings in alt and meta tags is one such example.
