Next iPod Nano

Hi

Friend of mine is about to buy a nano but I have heard there is a bigger capacity one coming soon. Does anyone know of dates and capacity of this new Nano?

been waiting for a while cos u know the second u buy one apple will update it!! had a 4gb mini and the battery has gone and really want a 6gb at least nano hoping theres one out soon.

I owned an Apple company, and two days after I bought my iPod Mini, the Nano came out...

The rumourmill is expecting something to be released (probably new Nanos and Mac Minis) on September the 5th (the day after Labor Day in the US).

The expectation for the Nano is double the capacity for the same money, new WiFi (kills battery) and perhaps more colours.

Notice how all the shops are offering discounts on Nanos right now? Am I right in thinking Apple only allow any sort of a discount when the range is about to be superceded? Currently around a tenner off is the best I've seen for the Nanos.

Amazon are doing 1gb Nanos for £88 now, £11 less than Apple themselves. Should keep Wanty Junior happy on his birthday.
