Will I lose my email accounts?
Or do they stay live as long as they are used?

Just been looking at Sky broadband.... £10 for upto 16mb.

I am paying 35 now for 10mb

I think the key part is 'up to'. In reality, the contention ratio's that SKY/BT work with are far higher than with NTL, so at peak times you'll be lucky to get 2mb with SKY

If you threaten to cancel NTL you may find they offer a price reduction. Telewest did

Threatened to cancel all our NTL packages (TV, phone, Broadband)... Got Sky Sports for a year free

Now that's run out, we've cancelled and gone to Sky anyway (if they censoreds turn up today and finish the botched install from yesterday ranting)
