Hi All,

Also posted on the sat nav forum so appologies to those people who have read this twice.

I run tomtom navigator on an ipaq. Got back off holiday to a flat battery. Pluged it into the docking station and it looked like it had reset. It wouldn't recognise my old connection and insisted that I form a new one. However, all my tomtom files are in my old connection so hence, it will not work. Where am I going wrong and how can I get my old connection back?

Thanks.

If you're battery runs flat you lose everything on your Ipaq, so you will need to re-establish your link, and if the TomTom software was on your Ipaq and not your SD card you will need to reload that as well.

I do a weekly backup on mine, saved to the SD card.

Thanks,

It is saved to the SD card. Previously when it has gone flat it has restored itself after a few mins. When I "docked" it this time the connection wizzard wanted me to create a new connection. I did this (had to give it a different name) and it updated all my contacts etc but not tomtom. Am I missing something blindingly obvious or shall I dig out all my installation CD's?
