Ooooh XP blue screen of death. Total crash I'm afraid

We had this on one of our pcs, all that we could do was send it in for a clean up and reformat (though they maybe be able to save a lot of your files), they shop said that it had picked something up that blew it's mind basically.

Couple of suggestions:

1. Boot from XP CD and repair disc?

2. Failing that, build a new XP install and just lift all the files you need (MyDocs / Desktop / outlook.pst)...

Or use the Automatic recovery on XP. don't press R the first time it asks. Keep going through the CD setup until it whinges about there already being an installation present. Then it'll give you the option to press R again, it'll rebuild your setup but keep your programs and settings.
