Anyone else finding it 'laggy'?

Scroll halfway down the page then 1-2 seconds wait before you are able to scroll down the rest of the page.

Nope, all works fine here.

Have you tried Firetune?

That may help.

Perhaps it was an app I installed earlier.

Is it happening on Java pages? This was mentioned on here earlier.

Platinum - are you sure it's not just waiting for the ad to appear?

I have the same sometimes - whereby I can scoll half-way down a PH page until I get to the placeholder for an ad (on the right-hand side). Normally I have to re-load 3 or 4 times before it appears.

Only happens on PH pages.

If it is just with one site then you may have found a incompatability with your configuration.

Some interesting points are:

Can you create the same problem using Internet Explorer?

Have you only noticed after installing the update or do you not use this site that often?

It could be that the update has nothing to do with the problem but a new site code release could effect your configuration.

If you do have problems with just this site then I am sure Ted would be interested to know as other people using a similar/same configuration may also be effected.

There was a thread about it a few weeks back. One of the adservers is causing some of us a problem, resulting in slow loading and "pausing"

Interesting, I thought it was just me! For me at least it's something like uk.realmedia247.com (or somethng)

I get that. Nothing to do with the ad servers. I've had it on a variety of sites. Refocus the cursor and it then works.

Snap. Same here - scrolling a page it seems to go: "line, line, <pause>, page" IYSWIM
