So I have a large .daa file I want to run but apparently .daa is some kind of "ISO" file compression. I can find many Windows based software but no Mac software - Is there any that someone can recommend me? Thanks!
If I understand you correctly then Toast can mount .ISO images.
Okay thanks. Sorry I was not more clear. I have a big .daa file and, from what little I know, I guess I need to "extract" it. I'm used to using a rar program on my mac that does a similar task but w/ other types of files. Are there any good shareware programs that I can download for free?
Google is you friend. Or in this case isn't.
Type ".daa files on a mac" without the quotes.
The first link notes:
"Unfortunately the only way to open these files on Macs is to install PowerISO on a Windows machine and convert them to ISO files."
Haven't read any of the other links.
Hey Murph,
Yeah I have done the google search and found a bunch of windows software. I do recall finding what you point out once in the past. I was hoping there was a solution by now. Toast may be the answer.
