One for the Mac peeps byebye

After installing the upgrade from 10.4.7 to 10.4.8 the built in bluetooth on my Mini Mac doesnt want to connect to my mobile phone. It detects and pairs with it ok, but will not connect. Looking on the support website other people have had similar probs but there doesn't seem to be a soloution. Anyone got any ideas or having similar problems?

This is a bit disapointing because otherwise I have been very impressed with my new mac. I hope this is a one off!

Hmm bit strage seeing as 10.4.7 addressed loads on BT issues.

Here's a few ideas. Zapping PRAM is always a winner.

OKay, unpair all of your BT devices. Then restart the computer but hold down the keys listed for your machine in the following advice. sheet. You may need a foot as well as two hands to do this.

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.ht

Then re-pait your BT devices. See if that works.

Mine refuses to sync after 10.4.7, yet to find a decent fix but that may work...

My keyboard is bluetooth so this doesnt work. I'll live with it for a while though, hopefully apple are aware of the problem and will sort out an upgrade soon.

It's not a daft permissions problem is it? Use disk utility to repair permissions on your system volume.

You must be able to borrow a normal USB keyboard to plug in for two minutes?
