For some reason IE has stopped automatically looking for the latest page on a site. For example unless I hit F5 on any page in PH it shows none of the updated pages since my last view.

I have looked in Internet Options and cannot find a reason for this.

Help!!!!!!!!!

What sort of setup to you have to connect to the 'net, it may be that you have a proxy server that caches pages to speed things up and that it getting in the way.

Tools> Internet options> Temporary files> Settings> Check for newer versions of stored pages> Automatically.

Or it could be a proxy as has already been mentioned.

It's on Automatically so should be OK but have just changed to "every time" to see if that makes a difference! I have a broadband connection (I work from home) so no proxy!

Seems to have been fixed now by chaging the setting to "every time".

Cheers chaps!!

One thing to be aware of even though it's fixed is that some ISP's do Proxy you and this can get in the way from time to time.
NTL are known to use transparent proxies so it's far to assume Telewest do as well. Not sure which of the ADSL providers do this but it should be easy enough to find out with the aid of google.
