How are you connecting? (dial-up, ADSL, Cable?)

How's your PC connected? Wireless? Physical network cable?

When you get this "low connectivity" message click "Start > Run" type "cmd".

In the command shell type ipconfig /all

It'll spew out a load of oddity, scroll around until you see "IP Address" and it'll have something next to it like "192.168.0.1" if this address starts "169." type this in:

ipconfig /release
then
ipconfig /renew

Does this get you back on-line? If not reboot the router and repeat the ipconfig /renew command.
