Hi there,

I need some help with configuring out personal email set-up.

Problem is that I don't know how to set up our accounts on outlook 2003 (xp) so that the wife receives her emails only and I receive my emails only.

Our email addresses are georgina@DomainName.co.uk and scott@DomainName.co.uk

Thought that this would be pretty easy to set up however we always receive each others mail.

Any help on setting this up would be greatly appreciated, as it really pi55ing me off now!!!!

Many thanks for any advise received.

Probably the easiest way to achieve this would be to start from scratch and use different outlook profiles.

I have quickly google'd some instructions on how to do this (see below). Once two profiles are used and the option always prompt for profile option is selected, when you start outlook you will be asked which profile is wanted and then you can keep your emails seperated from your wifes.

There are other ways of doing this but this is cleanest and easiest way of keep them seperate.

As Lee says - create 2 profiles - so that when you start Outlook it prompts you to select which profile you use - and therefore which email you access and use.

You do it via the Control panel - select Mail, then profiles

Thanks guys, i will have a look at this when I get home (currently in the office)

will the fact that the pop 3 setting is set to mail.DomainName.co.uk cause an issue with this set up?
