I've got an A4 portrait Powerpoint document (text and image) that I want to turn into a postcard type image. Now maybe I'm being really dim but I can't find any way of scaling it and printing more than one copy of it on a page. I've tried treating it as a handout and priting two to a page but it doesn't work well.

Any thoughts? I've got access to Photoshop - does this have the ability to do what I want - I can recreate the document in another form if necessary....

I would think that if it's a 1-page presentation, then print it as "Handouts" and select either 2, 4 or 6 to a page (depending on what size you want) - then that might do it.

I thought that too, but it doesn't scale it well - you get lots of blank space and it doesn't deal well with it being a portrait image.

I'm sure I've used software with imagines where as I selected print it's asked me I want to print it and given lots of options - perhaps I need to convert it to a .jpeg or similar? confused

Don't use the Powerpoint page layout options, but rather use the printer page layout options (in printer properties) which let you specify how many per page you want to print and whether you want borders of nor.

This also has the benefit of using most of the page as well, leaving about a 1cm border.

I'd do you a screenshot, but I'm on a Mac and the print dialogue box is completely different.

OK, I've cracked it - thanks guys. For info, I saved the Powerpoint presentation as a .jpeg, then opened it using the bog standard MS Photoprinter software and it gives you a bunch of different print options (contact sheet etc.) and it works. The image looks crap but that's another issue!
