Hmmmmm..... scratchchin

I was thinking and then I found some screenshots! Is it actually possible to install OSX easily on a PC and run it ok?

With the new x86 architecture Mac processors, surely this is possible?

Its been done. But ideally the PC needs to be a similar spec to an intel mac for it to work at all reliably..
A spot of Googling will find you lots of info. Here is one site to name but one.. www.osx86project.org
It is illegal however.. So you may find some sites have been silenced via Apples legal dept.. Good luck!

Why? The Mac's key advantage is that hardware and software fit perfectly together.

If it's the OS's features, you're after; there are plenty of Unixes that work better on a PC and are free too.

Try Solaris or Linux in Ubuntu with a wider driver support.

Hmmmmm.....looks too time-consuming and over-complicated for my liking.....

I'll just stick with my XP config for now.

I was planning on getting a Mac like I mentioned a while back but it got a little overpriced after everything I wanted on there. The 24" screen didn't exactly help but I think I'll wait until I do a major upgrade which will be another year I'm thinking.

I can also see how Vista is doing there vs. OSX.

Interesting days.....
