We use T43Ps, and have had lots of problems with their wireless drives and the ThinkVantage Access Connections. Maybe OK in newer laptops though.

Check out this site for Thinkpad related items: http://forum.thinkpads.com/index.php

I wouldn't have anything else other than Lenovo/IBM. Robust high quality kit, it just feels right in your hands.

They do seem cheap too - DABS are doing some really good offers too at the moment.

Dell PC's all the way for me but when it comes to laptops anytihng other than Lenovo/IBM just feel flimsy.

IMHO.

And to answer PPs question above, relating to:www.pcconnection.com/ProductDetail?sku=6809943&srccode=cii_13736960&cpncode=10-27075995-2

There is nothing wrong with it. I have to confess that it's a pretty meaty machine and I personally quite like it.

Please do note however that it's not a ThinkPad - it's a new range of notebooks - consider it the sister to the ThinkPad.

FWIW, I have a Thinkpad X60, made by Lenovo, with which I'm utterly delighted.
