Have been looking at the pictures that other people and myself have uploaded onto the internet, and quite frankly the picture quality is horrendous.

I thought maybe it was just pictures taken from a poor quality camera, or had been scanned in at some point, however whilst using another computer earlier today, the picture quality was spot on - excellent infact!. Now im back at home and stuck with pictures that look like they have been coloured in with crayons, however this is only happening when I view pictures onlineirked...can anybody help?.

Much Regards

What do wallpaper pictures look like, normal or bad? Regardless, Worth checking that the display settings are OK, right click on desktop/properties/settings. 'Colours' needs to be either 16-bit or 32-bit (not 16-colour or 8-bit)

If you have an LCD display, does your Windows resolution match the native resolution of your display?

Right-click Desktop->Properties->Settings->Screen Resolution

Yeh they match, it just seems to be for pictures uploaded on to forums and what not.

Other pictures, from the bbc website for instance, are fine.
