Ok so the time has come to move on up from a Technics FM tuner to a proper DAB/FM RDS tuner. Have a 'bug' DAB for the bedroom, so this must be a hi-fi style unit to go into the 'through-house' distribution system.

Had the external DAB & FM aerials installed so now just looking for which tuner to get, thoughts are around :-

Sony STSDB900 £170
Denon TU1800DAB £178

Anybody have any experience of above (or others)?

I've got the Pure seperate:

No complaints of any significance, but the display does look a bit home-made-electronics-project (it's just a 16x2 character LCD)
I think it was about £140 from SuperFi (could be wrong though).

Unless you particularly want the hi-fi sep size box a pure evoke has a line out on the back you can plug in to your amp. I appreciate that the dac may not be quite as good but how good does it need to be at these bit rates? You could then take it in the garage as and when to listen to the football.

Have a look at the NAD range, pronounced N-A-D not Nad, and dare I suggest Cambridge Audio.
