Had a whoops and the inner screen is cracked.

Not insured either soo a little stuck - my 2 months old 300 quid handset is useless.

Who can help fix it?

I presume this is with Orange? Did you buy it direct from Orange? Either way go back to the supplier and ask to have it sent for repair. If you bought direct from Orange they will arrange courier pickup and may well supply a replacement but any high-street outlet will send it off for repair and at best will supply (with a deposit) some crappy basic phone while HTC spend the next three months repairing it!
Both my wife and I had SPVC500s which had the power button fail and it took them months to fix. Best to keep on top of chasing them otherwise you go to the bottom of the pile! You need to the loudest shouting customer to get your phone back. A couple of years on and I still have my phone but my wife's power button failed again by which time she upgraded out of the problem.
IMHO SPV = great functionality, BUT they seem to be less robust than the Nokias I've had before. I've never broken a Nokia (and they got some serious abuse, a severe 3m drop onto concrete = A OK!) but I've bust three SPVs and know a friend who broke about half a dozen over the years.

I phone up orange about a spv phone that was stolen last week and the person mentioned I could get some emergency insurance cover or some word to that effect.

Might be worth looking into. I told them I wasn't interested because I an due an upgrade.. Also sometimes spares are available on www.modaco.com

They were going to sell you insurance to cover an event in the past? Most strange?
