02 Exec Sync problems with Contact folder on PC

Bloody thing.

The phone is about to be swapped for a direct replacement imminently due to a problem.

Anyway never bothered Syncing my phone and PC before and trying now as all the Contacts in the Microsoft Contacts area wont load back to Sim so going to lose them.

Decided to Sync with Microsoft Outlook Contacts as per indicated and the bloody details just will not swap over!!!!

From the PC I have gone into the phone and copied averything to a back up folder now held on the PC.... all except the vital Contacts file!!!

Can anyone give me any urgent help please??????????

You've checked the Synchronise Contacts checkbox in Activesync I take it?

Also upgrade to the latest release of Activesync if you havent already.

The other thing you can do if the replacement is going to be exactly the same is a full backup via activesync, instructions here: www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/activesync/backup.htm
