For a PC with a USB connection. I don't have the drivers and i can't download any *.exe files (because of the works firewall).
Is there anywhere that i can obtain these drivers so that i can install them on the standalone desktop i have at work. I can then view the net in its full glory and now be restriced by the networks Firewall.

thanks
DJ

can this actully be done?
I've been going through the manuals, but can't see anything about using the XDA EXEC as a modem for a PC.

Yes it can be done, I do it regularly.

In Programs there is a Modem application, you just need the drivers for the laptop and you are away.

Graham, I think the drivers may be device specific.

I found the links either at www.modaco.com or www.xda-developers.com

Sorry Graham they are specfic to the XDA EXEC and were supplied on the o2 CD-ROM. Did you not get a CD with the M5000? It would be on there.

plotless when you have your computer attached to the XDA EXEC and using it as a modem, do you find that the pictures that are on the computer are of lesser quality than if you used that same computer with a connection to a DSL?
Or do i have some setting to on/off that needs to be swtiched?
