Jamie,

I may be setting up a company and I've got a couple of quick Q's.

With the VDS pro can a .com and .co.uk share the same disk space and website or would each require a seperate account?

Could I run mailto.cgi for forms handling?

Not Jamie but yes you can have two domains pointing at one VDS (I have three) and yes you can use forms processors, I use a PHP solution.

I now you're not Jamie

What do you use for forms processing? It's just that I already have a load of forms ready to roll on mailto.... Don't suppose it would take long to knock up some new ones while I'm type though.

Another quick Q... Are the MySQL databases regularly backed up on the VDS Pro accounts?

All VDS accounts (and databases / emails / files) are backed up daily, you can also schedule your own backups via your control panel.

And a quicky from me too (fnarr)...are the dedicated server upgrade prices applicable after the fact as well as at signup?

Depends on what the Upgrade is, if it's a Ram chip, then sure, if it's a new CPU then on the monthly contracts we'd just advise you to let the current months contract expire and sign up for a new server at the new spec, for the three year deals we'd look to working something out.

Fair enough thumbup

I'll be signing up in a month or so, all being well at this end (developing a new site)

If you can, go for the Three year deal to secure your price.

With the way Datacentre pricing is heading presently (our bills have quadrupled!), I cant guarantee the PAYG monthlies will stay at this price for ever!

Sorry Jamie, another Q...

PHProjekt, can I customise it with my own CSS etc to brand it?

I was going to write something in PHP to track support calls but it seems you've already got that covered in the helpdesk.

It's just a quick install of the public version, so I can see no reason why you can not simply edit the code once it's Quick Installed!
