Microsoft alternates

I am in the process of rebuilding my "spare" computer and have decided to go legit with software.

So far I have
Open office
Thunderbird
Firefox
Ccleaner
Realplayer
adware

I am however missing a flow sheeting package, Visio is the costly option. Can anyone suggest the free alternate?

Draw in OpenOffice?

Draw appears to have some of the functionality but leans more towards a powerpoint type thing whereas impress is a full blown powerpoint replacement. Thanks for the suggestion though

Sorry, being sensible now. I'be never actually heard of something that is quite like Visio I'm sure there are different flow chart making programs but nothing quite like that beastie.
