MS Outlook & Deleting Emails

My version of Microsoft Outlook has thrown a bit of a hissy fit (& I don't know why) and will not let me delete unwanted emails.

Box that comes up is:



Closing & restarting Outlook & restarting whole computer doesn't make any difference. Hope this makes some sense to somebody!
