FTP In IE7

how do I goto an FTP site in IE7,

in the old IE6 I just type ftp://address,
In IE7 it swaps to http://address then fails to connect.

I'm not sure that MS are moving forward at the moment. I think they're kinda going sideways. I don't say that you can't do that, but I know when I checked out the good beta version of IE7 I decided to roll back, live with IE6 for a while and see what happens.

It's a bit like a daddy long legs. The boys at Mozilla have pulled one of it's legs off, and now it only flys in circles.

yip, I use it now, sourceforge has now become my number one use for utils and apps.


funny enough IE7 ftp:// does work with some ftp sites but not others.
