Automatic purging in outlook?

Can outlook 2003 be made to automatically purge deleted emails? I spend half my day purging crap from my inbox!

IMAP or POP3?

If its POP3 they should just remove themselves to the deleted items folder and then you can set that to empty on exit.

If its IMAP then you can add the Purge Deleted Messages button to your toolbar and click that and it will physically deleted every message marked as deleted.

IMAP - i'll look in to adding the button but it would be great if it was done automatically.
