Misses has decided to buy me a Sonos system for Christmas. Had a quick search on the web to see what they are all about, and it looks like I need a router. Currently I have NTL modem (not wireless) so I guess i'll need a router of some description. I used to have a full Netgear wireless G setup but binned it because a) it was Buggy as hell, b) support was ****** ****. I must have lost at least a month of my life trying to fix all the problems I had with that setup...

So what's worth investing in to cover wireless router, pci card, laptop card?

I have mine running though a Linksys router, though it is a wireless one (WRT54GS) I don't think that the router has to be wireless. I am running 2 Sonos boxes wired and 2 wireless - they use their own wireless network but one box needs to be connected physically to the network so it can access the router for NAT purposes.
enjoy it
