I've found a site that checks your website's implementation by taking images of your site from within different browsers, I've found it more useful for generating full length thumbnails than anything else, but it's worth a look:

I get a Python error when I paste that in... from them!

Whilst it's handy to see how different operating systems and browsers are. I'm affraid to say most people will be hitting a website in Windows and with IE6.x, Firefox and Opera are capable of handling most of the weirdness IE requires with the exception of ActiveX modules; but generally speaking you'd only deploy those on an intranet system due to all the security issues AX can cause.

The only other browser system to really make sure you support is a text browser for the blind, in some countries it's the law that you support such things.

Agree with above.

However,

if you're designing a website for ipod users, you know quite a few of them will be browsing via a mac.
Same applies for designers (offline & online), musicians e.t.c. Who regularly use Macs.

Always look at your website stats to see what your visitors are using and to check for trends.

I always find this site really interest:

That's nice, I clicked on "screenshots" and saw a nice website called "brutal dildos".

As I'm the sys admin here, I now have to reprimand myself, how very boring.
