My bloody mouse! (iMac with wireless mouse - useless)
Discussion
I have an iMac with a wireless keyboard and mouse - and I've put up with this for a while (ever since I've had it to be honest) but got through it but today it's getting me frustrated and wound up no end ...
The mouse flutters all over the place and speedy movement and clicking is nigh impossible - I have adjusted the speed and tracking but that makes no difference. I have k=just plugged in a Dell PC mouse to ee if that makes a difference and it's no better.
Even going three inches up the screen will involve the mouse pointer doing a healthy jig all the way there ...
I have a Mac at work (wired) and the mouse is and always has been fantastic - can work very very fast on it ...
So could it be the fact that it's a wireless one - don't want to go and shell out for a hard wired version if it's not going to be any better ...
Cheers

We've had a similar problem with the wired mouse on our iMac since new - erratic movement, sometimes the mouse jumping to the corners of the screen. I read somewhere that it might be caused by sunlight interfering with the sensors inside, and ours is perhaps better (but not fixed) since we moved it to a position where the sun doesn't shine on the mouse and changed to a more matt mouse mat.
