Evening all. I was wanting to get an upgraded memory card for my Medion MD40600 but I'm a bit confused with the different ones available and understandably don't want to end up with the wrong one. Do I need an SD or a MMC card? Also where would be a good place to buy either a 1 or 2 GB card that I need?
Many thanks in advance.

I've just poked around google as I'd never heard of this manu before. None of the sites mention a memory card slot of any description, just the 64MB internal RAM.

Which for a modern PDA is a bit bloody odd if you ask me, double check the manual it should list the type of card that the device will accept and where to shove it

This page implies it supports SD cards...

It's MMC apparently (maybe it has a dual function reader?) as someone on ebay is selling one with 2x256MB MMC cards.

It says MMC and SD on the back of the unit, does that mean that it has a duel reader and I can get either card for it then? Sorry to be a PITA but I really don't know about these things but am trying to learn.

Most, if not all, SD-enabled devices will also handle MMC cards.

Ok then, I'll get an SD card for it then as they seem a bit cheaper and they fit more cameras as I intend to get one in the January sales hopefully. Thanks for your help guys.

If you need somewhere cheap to get SD cards from, try 7dayshop. I have a 2Gb card on order (£15.99) and they usually are very good with postage times. HTH
