I have built a media pc and want to be able to use the tv as my monitor - sounds basic I know - but I have never done this before.

the tv has a number of free scarts + a yellow s video input free - what pci card (cheap) should I be looking at?

will this one work - I want to be able to view my pc on my tv for christmas!!!?

This card is much better: www.misco.co.uk/productinformation/~110366~WW~/Sharp%20graphics%20and%20stunning%20video%20quality.htm

The above will be able to use your TV too as it uses the S-Video TV Out

TV isnt over graphics intensive so either of those cards will be fine, the second one mentioned looks like a deal though.

The Yellow RCA is a Composite Video output, this will go straight into any television pretty much either directly or over Composite SCART.

S-Video is the one that looks a little like a mouse port, slightly higher quality than Composite but found less generally speaking.

looking to get or build a games pc next year, but quiet one and have it linked to a LCD tv which accepts pc as well as tv, seems the modern flat screen ones all do

most modern cards come with digital output, mine is one and using a supplied converter to use on the crt monitor - 21" sony triniton
