Anyone else having problems accessing any Fasthosts provided services...? I have got an Exchange mail account with them and it's not working either via OWA or Outlook 2k3 Client.

I know this is going to sound annoying, but does Jamie's lot offer the same service?

I see a fair few Fasthosts threads but never "Reg1 has blown up... arghhhh" stuff.

Hi roop

I can recommend Reg1 for hosting, etc. - we use them and they have been unfailingly excellent - but I'm not sure if they offer the service you want as a standalone item. I'm sure Jamie will clarify.

My company (Cantarus) does offer a hosted email service under the TeamEnable Workgroup brand. You get a dedicated mailbox as with Fasthosts, full Outlook integration, web access (to email, calendar, notes, contacts), PDA access (via IMAP, POP3 or a special 'light' web access theme), the ability to share folders/contacts/tasks, etc. with other users in your domain (if there are any), anti-virus scanning, anti-spam and twice daily email backup replicated to an ex-NATO nuclear bunker with a 28 day retention window. We typically have very little downtime (zero unplanned in 2006).

Edited to say: I'm happy to give you a free demo if that would be of any use.

pop3/smtp/imap/webmail is all available on the Reg1 VDS.

We dont offer Windows Shared Hosting, so Exchange is only availbe if you take a Register1 / Serverstream Dedicated server, on which you can install whatever your heart desires
