I've a large number of images that I need to edit & crop but they are all in PDF - I only have Adobe 'reader'.

Can anyone recommend any free software I can download that will do the job? I've searched Cnet but they are all trial versions and I don't know which are good or that work properly.

Thanks!

Can you take a screengrab, save it as a bitmap and convert it from a bitmap to a jpeg?

I probably could, but each PDF contains a large number of photographs which have been scanned - I might lose resolution / quality doing it like that?

I'll use that as my back up plan - thanks!

Any good?

Can be used in batch/command line mode to do all sorts of manipulation and it'll read .PDF's with a plug in.

I've only scratched the surface with it but it seems to have a lot of capabilities.

I'm not sure what this batch jibberish is, so I'm opting for the monkey link cheers though Mr Out.
