Hi all,

We're a medium-sized management consultancy using Sharepoint with MS Office files, which we'd like users to be able to submit directly, rather than emailing them to a gatekeeper as currently happens.

Can anyone recommend an interface to allow users to submit documents directly to Sharepoint?

As you can tell, I'm new to this. Would really appreciate any help or advice.

Many thanks,

Russell

dont use it but have seen it cant you set up sharepoint so that sharepoint sites appear in their save as list. ie they have a word file and they go file save as and the first bit that appears is their sharepoint site.

You could also use subsites with contributor access.

I have it at work and we can 'Save to Sharepoint' in the file menu, plus there's a Sharepoint icon on the toolbars of Word/Excel/Outlook. There is also an icon on the front page of our intranet.
