Unable to forward attachments or links

Mr Blondemoment has a new Sony Vaio. He has found that although he can use Outlook 2003 to send files, he can't just right-click a file in his documents/on his desktop (i.e. excel sheet, word document, external link) and send it. The email send button is there, but absolutely nothing happens. So he has to go to Outlook, click 'New', and send the attachments from there, which works fine

Update: found that if he double clicks the send button when forwarding, it works, but only one click required from the Outlook programme. Uh???
