My anti virus software (McAfee) detected & deleted a Trojan clicker virus last night. It advised me to run a full scan of my computer, which I did, but noting else was found.
However I still wasn't happy so downloaded a copy of AVG and ran that. It found 3 of these Trojans and deleted them.
I then ran another scan full scan (AVG) and an ad-ware, both of which came out clean. However I am still concerned that my computers security may have been compromised in some way. Should I change my passwords, etc.?
I know this questions my sound dumb but I don't have a lot of experience with computers and my system has never had a virus before. Do I need to do anything else or is the fact that the virus was detected & deleted enough?

The actions you take after the infestation depend upon what the virus was. Look it up in AVG's virus database and see if it mentions 'key logging' or some such. If it does, then it would be prudent to change the passwords you use on-line (especially banking, paypal, etc.).
If being deleted should be 'good enough', you've already learned the hardway how effective Norton is and taken step to replace it with something better so... job should be a good un.
