Hi all

I've recently created a website for my brother’s new business - www.xcelit.co.uk but when the page is first loaded a red cross appears where an image should be. Can anyone tell me how I get the page and image to load at the same time without the red cross appearing? I think it looks a little unprofessional.

I'm no expert on this and the website has been developed using MS Publisher 2003 so any help would be appreciated!

Not meaning to sound rude, but I would expect an IT business to have a very professional website, developed in something other than MS Publisher.

You can pick up Dreamweaver pretty cheap, and there are a load of alternatives out there - and a lot of tutorials available.

I'm no expert, just trying to offer some constructive criticism. It might be worth the initial outlay to get a site made up for him?

You could learn some proper web development skills without investing in any software, take a look at W3 Schools for some free lessons to get you started, my brother works as a web developed and he learnt enough to put together a portfolio that got him a £28k per annum job using this site.
